The story of Hotelware Corporation starts in Cyprus in 1989. The aim of the founder then was to cover the needs of the Cypriot market in servicing the HO.RE.CA industry sector. The successful activity in this field have enabled us to expand our operations across the spectrum of HO.RE.CA. Today, the group has production units and delivery offices in Cyprus, Greece and the UK. It focuses on customer needs and covers a range of innovative and high-quality products.
It all started in 1989, when Mr. Aggelos Yiasoumi founded in Limassol the company Hotelware Enterprises Ltd., a small family business at that time, manufacturing and distributing professional clothing and staff uniforms for the local market. The company is growing strongly in the HO.RE.CA. industry.
In 1991 we reach to an agreement with the multinational MILLIKEN Co. USA for the exclusive manufacturing and distribution of their fabrics in the Cypriot market
In 1994, we entered the demanding industry of industrial laundries. By having our own industrial laundry facility, we would be able to give our HO.RE.CA. customers the hygiene and cleanliness of their hotel textiles.
In 1996, “your logo wipes” brand was created. We start producing wet wipes which are individually packaged scented wipes, combining innovation, practicality and hygiene.
In 1998, “your logo wipes” moves into the UK market which is crowned with great success.
In 1999, Ecofusion Chemicals brand was created, A production unit was developed for the manufacture of antiseptic and cleansing liquid products, with the sole purpose of meeting the needs of HO.RE.CA industry sector in cleaning and disinfection.
In 2000, we begin to export our wet wipe product line “your logo wipes” mainly to Europe, through selected representatives and agents. At the same time, we transfer our activities to our private facilities of 2000 m².
In 2002 we decided to create a state-of-the-art Wastewater Treatment Plant specialized chemical wastes, with processing capability of 200 cubic meters daily. The purpose of this investment was and is the protection of the environment and reusage of the most precious good (commodity) water.
In 2007 the export activity expands in Mexico, the Balkans, Scandinavia, Russia and the Middle East.
In 2008, we invest in the latest technology of digital printing machines which revolutionizes the individually packaged products. This succeeded in reducing production costs combined with the flexibility provided by the new technologies. Plus, the printing of logos does not require large high volumes, while the pre-press printing cost are eliminated.
In 2010, we reach to an agreement with MILLIKEN Co. USA to have the market exclusivity of fabrics made by MILLIKEN Co. USA for the Greek market.
In 2013 we moved to new production facilities located in the Industrial Park of Markopoulo, on newly built premises with a covered area of over 6000 square meters. The premises meet all requirements of safety and hygiene, in which all of our products are manufactured. The objective was to give the best possible and complete service for Greek market and easier access to European markets.
In the same year we establish a logistics warehouse, offices and a technical support team on the beautiful island of Santorini, giving the local companies high-quality products and services usually hard to find on islands.
In 2015 we set up a fully operational technical department based in Athens. The goal is to give our local customers the peace of mind that we are always on their side ready to support them with any problem may have.
In the same year on the island of Santorini we start proving exclusive professional lease linen laundry services. High quality and service is our drive force. Our customers will never have to worry about their linen again.
In 2017 we invest in a new wet wipes production line to upgrade our product quality and also in meeting the market demands.
Future plans: The investment and installation of the latest technology digital press for even higher quality customized products. More news regarding the investment will be announced in the near future.
